Janhi is a very popular vegetable in odia dishes. In English Janhi is known as Ridge Gourd. In Hindi Janhi is known as Jhinga Tori.
This is a light green color vegetable. Both ends of this vegetable are pointed. There are sharp and horrizontal thin lines on its skin. it has white mash inside with soft small seeds.
